a nose!!!
piercing that is.
I've been wanting to pierce my nose for awhile, but had to wait for an opportune time. It takes about 3 months for it to heal, and since you can't take it out until it heals and I can't have a piercing when I'm in uniform, I needed to wait for a 3 month stint when I was going to be uniform-less.
Well, I don't need to wear my uniform again until conference in April and I had time to do research on a good piercing studio this week, so voila...

Pretty cool, huh?
It hurt a tiny bit, but it was over pretty quickly. If I remember right, it hurt less than getting my ears pierced (but that was 15 years ago and they used on the piercing guns, which are a big no-no now.) Anyway, it aches a bit right now, but no more than a 2 on a 1-10 scale.
And just 'cause I have another pic, here's the current progress towards Frankenbike's resurrection.

If you look closely, you'll see that her rear brakes are hooked up and the front brake cable is there, but not hooked up yet. I'm hoping I'll have that done within the next hour or so and can get started on the drive train. Woo hoo!
