Cookies

My sister A (the younger one) was here for Thanksgiving and we bought all sorts of dairy and eggs to use in baking. Since D and I normally keep the house vegan, we've been trying to use up the various non-vegan items and give the products away to friends (we don't like wasting food).

Anyway, I've been trying various cookie recipes trying to find one we like. D and I are both big fans of thin, dense, chewy cookies. But I wasn't having much luck until I found this webpage where they took a basic chocolate chip cookie recipe and made numerous different variations until they figured out exactly what recipe change did what, and the posted the recipes for the various versions. Woo hoo!

I just made the "thick chewy" cookies 'cause the other versions don't use eggs (and we're trying to get rid of eggs dammit!). They're really good.
