Celebrity life

I'm not normally one to follow any of the various happenings in celebrity's lives. But there are times it's kind of hard to avoid hearing about certain things (Tom Cruise's tirade against antidepressants for example). Most recently Paris Hilton's 'interactions' with the law enforcement establishment have received a far amount of media attention. I stumbled across one article talking about how Paris' grandfather had donated to the campaign of the sheriff that released her from jail and allowed her to do a house-arrest instead.

Anyway, the article talked about how this sheriff has a history of giving preferential treatment to celebrities and how various actors are coming out to openly criticize Paris and her antics. In the article, I ran across the following quote:

"All heiresses should be put in prison on general principle," actor John Cusack said.

Ah. I knew I liked John.
