Painting in the desert
It's currently 88 degrees and 12% humidity. I cut and fit all the molding for the kitchen and bathroom last night, so I'm painting it out in the driveway today and hope to install it tonight.
If you've ever painted using standard latex paints, you know that they generally take about 3-4 hours to dry so that you can re-coat. It is currently hot and dry enough (especially in the sun) that the paint is drying to touch less than 10 minutes, probably closer to 3 (I haven't timed it yet). While this is great on some level, since I will be able to put on a second coat pretty quickly, it means that I need to move really, really fast to make sure my brush and roller don't dry out.
